Just engineering curiosity. Good luck on your exam.Sorry, I'm in the middle of studying for a UCI-based exam this weekend and it was on my mind. It's an e-bike. Who cares.
In general, fairings are not allowed, but if Ridley got UCI prototype approval (different sticker), and made the frame generally available within one year, then it can be raced by anyone.Just engineering curiosity. Good luck on your exam.
Your best bet at the moment is the Scott Fastline, probably. The new TQ40 bikes look amazing! Any suggestions on where to try and buy in the US or better to wait a little while longer as more brands incorporate this mid drive?

That's a beautifully designed and well executed platform. Let's see how it does in the marketplace.Your best bet at the moment is the Scott Fastline, probably.
Just watched your desert ride on that Denna, you're spoilt for choice with bikes at the moment! That ginormous gravel race in the desert looks very very cool! As does that 22 hour rave! Hilarious. Spain in the depths of winter, looks very attractive I must say.Your best bet at the moment is the Scott Fastline, probably.
’Fraid not…waiting for TQ to send one along once I’m done with the ones I have. Crazy. Thanks, I watched your review, beautiful bike. Have you gotten the chance to put any miles on it yet?
I still pinch myself that I get to ride these bikes! Me, a fat goat farmer! Not exactly GCN material!Just watched your desert ride on that Denna, you're spoilt for choice with bikes at the moment! Haha. I'm in my mid 50s so of course at this young age I see myself living it large with 22 hours of non stop dancing rather than my dodgy hummus making culinary skills!I still pinch myself that I get to ride these bikes! Me, a fat goat farmer! Not exactly GCN material!
So, Ras, you liked the idea of the gravel race, the 5-day rave…yet say nothing about the clothing-optional weird-as-f ‘Nowhere’ festival??? Making hummus in a tent, or performative art whilst wearing a huge pink fox tail?
At some point, when you've got to the end of testing all these gorgeous yet different e gravel bikes, I'd be very curious to know which you'd pick, if you could have one as your forever bike. Given your local roads and trails and given you are coming to these as a long term Orbea Gain rider. Hard choice I'd say. I'm still in awe of that BH e-Aerolight which I'd never heard of. What a bike. I just saw BH are taking on dealers in the UK once again, which is nice.’Fraid not…waiting for TQ to send one along once I’m done with the ones I have. Crazy.
Are they?! That is great news for the UK. The BH iRS1 has a whopping great battery (600Wh) but must be heavier. The iAerolight was a year or more ahead of the game with its 11.8kg, ‘big’ battery and powerful mid motor. Brilliant bikes. At some point, when you've got to the end of testing all these gorgeous yet different e gravel bikes, I'd be very curious to know which you'd pick, if you could have one as your forever bike. Curious, what makes that frame UCI-illegal, and how essential was it to the frame's ebike mission?

The third offspring in the successful Noah Fast family. Our engineers have pushed the frame shapes to the UCI limits: 8:1 ratio of tube shapes and compensation triangles where usefull. The Noah Fast is the result of a holistic design approach from the first frame sketch where we took into account all components like wheels, bottles, cockpit.
Saw the news about BH via Downhill Smooth Tarmac a UK based YouTuber - he's a garage tinkerer, converting old 90s MTBs into gravel bikes, that kind of thing, he has an impressive stockpile of bike parts in that shed of his! Anyway BH gave him a hardtail to review and in the video he rides it over to his local bike shop that is now all BH.Are they?! That is great news for the UK. As to which of the 3…such a hard choice. I’m riding all three as much as I can. I’ll always think of myself as a roadie, yet I love exploring off road. With just 1 choice, probably the Trek, with a Redshift stem and 2 sets of wheels...but if the Denna used the HPR60? That! There’s such a strong case for all of them really, and the Grizl is so much more capable off-road than the others, with the front sus, 50mm tyres and dropper post, yet still enjoyable on the road.
Dream scenario would be a road bike with the HPR 40 and a suspension gravel or lightweight hardtail emtb with the 60, with a service point in my town! Where’s that lottery ticket?
