Vado SL 5.0 versus Vado SL 2 6.0 Carbon - thoughts on upgrading

Does anyone know how easy is it to drop the motor to unplug the rear light (for rack removal) on these bikes?
The SL 1.1 and 1.2 motors have the same bolt patterns. The only difference is there is a nylon spacer required for one of the bolts on the SL 1.1 motor that is not required for the SL 1.2. The motors are easy to remove with careful workmanship and the proper tools. Most of the bolts are torx except for one 5mm hex dual purpose bolt for the chain keeper. I would expect there will be a disconnect for the rear light visible after you've removed the motor cover and you won't need to drop the motor. Make sure you tape or seal the open wire ends that run back to the TCU.

Just updated the firmware (Vado SL2 6 Carbon) today over the air. All went well I thought until I checked the display. I now only have 1 screen instead of 5. Spec "help" stated I could add back the screens via the Ap. Not true.. Now funnily enough when I try "Contact us" again all I get is a spinning wheel. Reckon I've been blocked !
Anybody had the same problems...?
