Bafang M625

Building my third e bike and this time I used the M625 motor. It has a female plug that is identified as the Battery Communication Cable. I can find no male counterpart to plug into. Am I missing something? In retrospect I may have been better of staying with the BBS02 but it is too late now.

You probably need a Bafang brand battery that has a BMS with communication.
I've yet to see a 3rd party battery with communication.
That said your in the same boat as a BBS02B that doesn't have the plug. No battery info to the display.

Thanks for the reply. I am seeing battery percent, wattage and other parameters on my screen. I hope they are not false readings.

Yeah those will be accurate.
If your display supports... You'd have additional info like this...

... but again I've yet to see it functional as no third party battery has the necessary hardware.
