Do you think the new Segway Safari will be a big competitor to the Magicycle Deer?

Both bikes have some very similar features including dual suspension among others. Segway's rear rack mounts to the main frame instead of the swing axle section so your cargo/load won't get bounced around as much. On their website the Segway is priced at $2,399 right now. Whaddya' think!???

If you meant the Xafari, the specs put the weight at 92.5 lb bare. That's very heavy even by ebike standards. A 750W, 80Nm hub-drive that heavy won't be very responsive, and it won't be much of a climber.

Best to test ride this one and something closer to 60 lb before you buy. Be sure to test on a hill representative of the hills you plan to ride. And be sure to test the brakes.

Many dual suspension fat tires bikes have always ended up weighing about that much (unless they are dedicated mountain bikes, carbon frame, etc.). We'll have to wait and see what the (soon to be released) Velotric Nomad X weighs in at but I'm guessing it will be similar.
