Lectric XP 1.0 + Aosom Trailer

This is my Lectric XP 1.0 pulling an Aosom Cargo trailer fully loaded with a karaoke kit, my pool cue, and a ukulele. I run karaoke on saturday nights at a local bar. Trailer is rated to haul up to 88 pounds. With a Bugera busking amp, two laptops, a 23 inch tv, my ukulele, mic and stand, cables...

    Kindness shown to Lectric rider

So I rode my XP 1.0 several miles to a local pub. Parked next to their sign. Locked bike to sign posts. About 4 or 5 minutes into my first adult beverage a massive storm rolled in. The bartender told me a storm was coming and suggested I bring my bike inside the bar. It wasn't too crowded but...

    Lectric Battery Replacement

Those were likely batteries used in the now defunct Lectric longboard company... or something like that. For 2 ah they probably aren't worth the weight/power trade.

    Mirror question

Current Lectric XP 1.0 cockpit set up includes bar extension, mirror, stereo, headlight, bell, turn signals/brake light/flasher remote controller(paired to front and rear). Also a weird horn that's pretty loud. I plasti-dipped the mirror red and mounted the bar extension far left. Good...

Ever think of getting a companion to the XP? Of course you have.

If you go the DIY way check out the steel frame Harper Retrospec fixed gear single speed for a conversion. Would need to add disc brakes. No matter what bike you choose to mount a 1000w hub motor on it should probably include torque supports on the forks.

    Weight of Battery and Seat/Seatpost?

You could get a small utility trailer cheaper than some of the heavy duty racks.

Ever think of getting a companion to the XP? Of course you have.

Fiido with a 15mph top speed means anyone on a Lectric will be waiting or in pas 1 the whole ride. I like the battery. My guess is the actual range is more like half of the stated distance.

    Accessories for your XP

I like the small curved sections of rim tape because you can space them out in a pattern around the rim as opposed to a continuous stripe all the way around. Spacing out rim tape adds contrast. Looks cooler when moving if that's important to you.

    BEST LECTRIC BIKE LOCK

Every measure to prevent theft helps. However, when considering the speed with which a powerful/portable grinder with a cutoff wheel can cut through pretty much anything it becomes clear that any kind of lock can be defeated in a few seconds at most. Don't fall for locksmith suggestions...

Motor feels like it is crunching when I pedal

are you sure it's the motor? check derailleur to see if it was bent in shipping and trying to engage gear when starting out.

    Totally absurd possibilities for touring

This guy has some useful info and has a 175 watt flexible panel deployed when stationary(apparently). No fat tire and a lighter frame I think.

    Delay in Assist?

On the XP 1.0 you can change the factory default PAS mode (11 maybe?) setting from 3 to 1. Not sure about the 2.0.

    1st 30 miles XP 1.0

Thanks. Suspension Seat Post But I have no idea if it's any good. No reviews. I ordered it cuz it's red. I don't have any plans for adding front suspension as of now.

    1st 30 miles XP 1.0

Having fun with this thing. It's zippy. Ridden on pavement, gravel, grass, and a bit of dirt so far. Everything functioning as it should. Rode last night. Aftermarket lights helps the dinky stock light. Added extension bar, bike stereo, turn signals/brake/flasher lights front and rear, two...
