I got my display replace twice. I brought my 2016 Turbo S late winter 2015. First time they replaced my display at summer 2016 and 3 month later backlight went out again and they replaced it again. My second display works since then.
You should have warrenty if you have 2016 model. Take your bike to local dealer they should replace your battery.

After 3 long month without my stock battery instead using a Turbo X battery restricted to 33km/h I got new replace battery. I rode to Specialized store here in Stockholm switch batteries and rode home in Turbo mode. What a blast!!! :)
Turbo S is 45km/h top speed. FLR is around 33km/h top speed (if not firmware upgrade) it is different. I have Turbo S 2016 I use 2015 FLR battery at the moment my stock battery is waiting for warrenty replacement. I would pick a used Turbo S any day.
Hi

I don't know which yamaha motor you are talking about. What I know the yamaha motor I refer to is limited 25km/h and 250watt (500watt).
Yamaha 2016 electric bike system:
- 250 watts to 500 watts power output
- 80 Newton meters of torque
- 36 volt 11 amp hour battery
- 4 amp charger weighing 2...
Of course is not as Turbo S or Stromer in comperison when the power out put is not even close. The point is in general mid drive motor is much more balanced becouse motor is located low and center on the bike, not like hub motor is heavy on back wheel or in front that could compromise conering...
What models from Giant did you tested? I'm mean specific this Giant https://www.giant-bicycles.com/gb/dirt-eplus-1-2017 with Yamaha system. Very torque motor. Not all Giant ebike segements runs with Yamaha mid drive motor.
Hi
I own a 2016 Turbo S I think mid drive motor like Turbo Levo or Yamaha Syncros system on Giant bikes are very very good. They both feel very balanced and light at the same time. You can paddle without assist and still feel very light not like hub motor which feel very heavy without assist...
