Just purchased a 2016 Base Turbo

Hi Scott, I think that is the same bar in carbon fiber. This is the one I got through Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002PTMP0C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have about 3,000 miles on my Turbo now, still love it, not itching for anything else. I also love these...

    Different Bar for Hybrid

That's them, Pro Torq space bar, I think she will like them. I have had a few people that use straight bars ride my bike and be surprised by the ergonomics. I stand up to crank up hills without downshifting and find the balance with these bars great. Good luck!

    Different Bar for Hybrid

Hi John, They work great for me. I too had the some numbness and general upper body discomfort. No problem with bars even with my much firmer riding tires. I got them here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002PTMP0C?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00 Took all of a couple of...

    Wife's new Turbo is home...

I tried everything! Scoured the net for days....... I think my problem was the brakes not having been bedded correctly when they were new. I didn't want to replace the rotors, I still don't. I have only owned three bike with disk brakes, they have all been noisy at some point.

    Wife's new Turbo is home...

The pads on my Base Model weren't bedded correctly by my dealer. I have tried Everything, resurfacing and cleaning, multiple realignments........on and on. I am on my second set of pads, I went with inexpensive...

    More Turbo Photos

Those were Ergon grips off my first bike. It had a twist throttle and shifters so they were the short grips. When the brake levers were in the proper position on the Turbo there was a big gap between the inside edge of the grip and the levers. I didn't like that so I took some cheap Wal Mart...

They will fit the Turbo S, no problem. I have a Topeak Beam Rack, seat post mount, it works fine. If you need to carry a lot of weight and want one that mounts to the frame, no problem either, there are two sets of eyelets, one you can use for the fender, the other for the rack. Topeak Beam...

    Waiting to pull the plug...

I have had my Base Model Turbo for about 3 months and 1,600 miles and absolutely love it. With a few tweaks to my personal preference I don't find myself longing for something else. Yes it would be fun to have the power of the S model, but I could never justify the cost difference. I also want...

    Platform pedals vs. clipless pedals

I was using Shamino clipless until my foot got stuck while pulling over to wait for my wife to catch up. I went down and broke my elbow, radial head fracture. Crappy injury, I still haven't regained full arm extension, probably never will. All the physical therapy people guessed how my injury...

    Fall Turbo

Hello Everyone! I was going through photos and came across this one.....I don't believe I ever posted it. I am in the process of working out how to get some good shots me riding the bike. I am working up the courage to mount one of my Pro cameras to the handle bars with a very expensive wide...

    More Turbo Photos

This was from an eariler post: I couldn't swallow the cost of the Specialized kit even though I really like the way it looks. The SKS fenders are very light and great quality. The hardest part about the install is having to remove the rear wheel (which is very easy on the Turbo) to get to the...

    Seat post on turbo

Here is how I did mine with a Thudbuster ST. I drilled the hole in the top center thinking it wouldn't weaken the post in any way. I put a piece of shrink tubing around the wire where it passes through the seat post to help protect the wire insulation.
