Question about brakes on any/ all bicycles with rim or disc brakes

Same here. After almost a year of owning my e-bike, my brain is still confused since I've been riding motorcycles for more than 60 years.

I took a 20 mile round trip over the rolling hills of PA for breakfast at Spanky’s Restaurant in Newfoundland, PA this morning.

    Kody Technologies Bike Rack Light

I just added an expensive Kody Technologies tail light to my already expensive QuikrStuff bike rack. 🤑 VERY sturdy and well integrated with the rack. It looks like it came with it IMO. It doesn't interfere with attaching the add-on ramp, folds nicely with the rack on the Jeep and for storage.

Where are the bike tire nerds?

I feel the Super Moto's (NON X) are the best tires for a commuter e-bike. Fantastic on pavement, good on loose gravel, sand and grass - everything I run into and over on my rides.

Where are the bike tire nerds?

I’m on my third set of tires in 10 months for my Allant+ 8S. The original stock tires, while very smooth on the road were a nightmare on anything slightly slippery (grass, gravel, etc). At about 700 miles, I replaced them with Super Moto X’s. While infinitely better on the slippery stuff, they...

Trek Allant+ 7S: Slight Vibration Emitting from Bosch Performance Speed motor

I have had the same exact vibration feeling as the OP on my Allant+ 8S since new. At 900 miles (10 months old) it has gotten slowly worse. Not more vibration but it happens much more often now (about 50% of the time riding). I mentioned it to my dealer when the bike was only a couple of weeks...

First e-bike for a 68 year old - buying help needed

69 y/o here. I've had a Trek Allant+ 8S for eight months/725 miles and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. Mine is a standard but they also offer a Stagger, not quite a step though but lower standover height. Your requirement of 50 miles per trip is going to require a big battery, which is where a lot of the...

How do you like the Tannus Armor? Is there any noticeable difference in the ride?

    e-bike noob

Too cold and rainy to ride this week, so it's more upgrades. 🤓 The stock Bontrager E6 Hard-Case Lite tires are great on dry pavement and treacherous on anything else. After weeks of research and reading reviews, I opted to change them out for Schwalbe Super Moto X's. I'm hoping they are almost...

Best vehicle rack for step-thru e-bikes

For me it was the increased weight capacity and the completely no tools installation/easier adjustability of the Quikrstuff. I have family with the 1up and it is also a good product. The Quickrstuff is just a bit better IMO.

Best vehicle rack for step-thru e-bikes

With the weight of your e-bike, you really should be looking at the the 1 up Extreme Duty or the Quikrstuff Mach2 IMO. In that case, the Quikrstuff is actually cheaper. Apples to Apples. I have been nothing but 100% satisfied with my Quikrstuff rack. Definitely worth the wait!

Smarthub Smart watch fitness tracker compatibility.

I know it doesn't help you but the Apple ecosystem works wonderfully with the Cobi.bike app and my Trek Allant+ 8S. Data goes right into the Apple Fitness and Health apps. Cobi.bike also talks to my Apple watch for heart rate info.
