A pool noodle makes a good battery filler.

I love my continental top contact tires, they roll fast and smooth.

I've removed the front fender. The rear fender is a little tougher, it has the wireing for the rear light and helps support the rack. The rack also supports the fender, they are symbiotic.

Drive down to Seattle, several in stock there and around Portland.

Tires go flat over time, I usually air up every week on the e bike and 2-3 times/week on the road bike.

Not sure I buy their thoughts. It might not be heavy duty but it will carry a load no problem. I run them hard with 2 panniers with 6-8 bottles of wine in each one. Haven't babies them one but and have had no issues.

Check the nut on the valve stems or even secure the stem with some tape. I've had that be the cause of many mystery rattles.

Yep they did screw themselves, I don't blame the shipping companies for pulling out. Portland became a port you couldn't trust not to have your cargo held hostage.

It was about the long shoreman union sabotaging work, creating slow downs, and causing headaches for the shippers. There was a ton of money to be made, the unions drove the shipping companies to other ports and Portland continued down the sewer. BTW I have lived here for 24 adult years so I know...

I've had no issues with the smart hub, haven't had my phone come out, haven't needed more low end torque on my 8s yet. We regularly ride at 20+ over rough roads and carry heavy loads in panniers. Only issue I've had have been the Treck factory store's lack of any attention to detail during assembly.

The Scosche Rhythm and Rhythm+ work too.
