Check the nut on the valve stems or even secure the stem with some tape. I've had that be the cause of many mystery rattles.

I've had no issues with the smart hub, haven't had my phone come out, haven't needed more low end torque on my 8s yet. We regularly ride at 20+ over rough roads and carry heavy loads in panniers. Only issue I've had have been the Treck factory store's lack of any attention to detail during assembly.

Take an Allen wrench and put it on the drive sprocket the turn the crank back until it contacts the Allen. Turn the crank back and the drive train will rotate back for lubing.

Personally I'd walk before owning the stagger frame, it's just not for me. If you want a normal frame, wait for it if you settle then every time you look at your $5k bike you will question yourself. But I also would have been disappointed buying a 7s in blue then finding out about the 8s in red...
