I forgot to add that I also run these HD tubes, that about 3x thicker than standard bike tubes, they are kind'a expensive, but for the way and where I ride, along with Sportsman Flat Out, they are worth to me, imho. yrmv...

Thanks Guys My thoughts were that I should upgrade the shifter, I kind'a figure, I would lose the 3 gear shifter, when converting this bike, but I do have a question. Can or will I be able to use the wide/narrow chain with the new ring gear, 11/42 and 8 speeds? I have this type of chain on both...

Hey Guys I have Sram twist shifters on my 22009 Montague "Old Blue", 3 x 8 cluster = 24 spds. It has become very hard to shift and I have lost a couple of gears now etc. I am sure with all the ultra fine dust around here, that these twist shifters are gummed/dried up and need cleaned/lubed...

Ped Around here we call that a Bull Thistle, we cut down every one we find, No Cal Red Bluff area had miles of them, called Star thistles, never had any problem with tube/tire problems, that I remember.

As a backup to FO, I'll probably add the 4" wide Tuffy liners to each tire. I read where a person added a several small strips of thin double side tape between the line/tire to hold it (liner) in place before the tube was installed, inflated the tube to riding pressure, then cut and feathered...

I have had Flat Out in my tubes since 02/2021, when I got my 1st E bike and you can tell it's still sloshing around when the tire is spinning around, and I have never added any more to the 4" fat tire tube. There was 10 oz injected via a 60cc flushing syringe with a piece of tubing attached...

In the 4th photo from the top, it appears that the power line on the left side is about to fall down, if that generator base is straight up/down....

A new way of recharging your batts, with EMF? Question for those that KNOW, does that head revolve around the main base for varying wind directions or are they fixed one direction? The better half uses a chop stick to lite the stove top burner, and I can't figure out WHY that single burner won't lite......... out of all of the 4 others..........that light every time.
