    Bafang 1000 Mid Drive

Gio I didn't get all of your quote posted, you said, "What is a Bafang 1000 mid drive? There is no Bafang 1000 model number. BBSHD? OEM motor or DIY kit motor"? I was attempting to reply to your question, that per Biktrix, they have listed a 1000W motor....... In using my lowest gear, my top...

New 9 Speed Internally Geared Hub with 554 Gear Range

Merlin A question for you, Would this 3-9 IGH work with a trail riding bike, ie cross country, heavy load application like a trailer being pulled via a Ultra 620 motor, on a narrow cow/horse trail? Think Hunting Bike.....Low and slow....I don't need speed, just the bottom end grunt power. Tia

How to get the axle out??

UPDATE Well, I changed the Bungee cord length to 8' x 1/4" dia, instead of the 5' I started with, by changing lengths and getting rid of the 3" "S" hooks, and went with a formed eye, that I could kind'a lock down while testing the number of Bungee cord wraps per side. I can get better tension...

How to get the axle out??

PC Both my bike are mid motors, that was the first thing I checked when buying them, as I had the trailer bug, when buying etc. You would have to have custom made trailer bracket/Bobbins for that hub motor. Tia

How to get the axle out??

PC Yep, Done finished the trailer attachment brackets. Had to make them for the bikes, as the usual way is to have the Trailer Attachment Bobbins threaded on the end of the solid 1 pc axle, that wouldn't work on these bikes, as the Bobbins would interfere with the derailleurs shifting pattern...
