Second the use of Quad Lock, been using them for over a year. It's an easy to use mount solution and the case is decent quality and offers good protection to the device.

2019 : Our Rides in Words, Photos & Maps

First big ride on my Giant Quick-E+. Followed the Murray to the Mountains rail trail - https://www.ridehighcountry.com.au/rail-trails/murray-to-mountains/ Started in Wangaratta and finished in picturesque Bright at the foot of the Victorian alpine area. Was quite a warm day, with temps hitting...

The levels of assistance are from the bike. All the BikeSpeed-RS or any other delimiter do is unlock the 25Km/h limit so the assistance keeps going rather than cutting out. I didn't choose a custom on/off sequence so it's up/down/up/down from normal assistance (Quick-E is Eco, Eco+, Normal...

Had mine for close to 2 weeks now, have clocked up around 250Km with it installed. I commute with it on during the week and turn it off for the weekends where range is important to me. Don't use the RideControl app, find it drains the phone too much, however all data collected was correct. For...

Had another look and it appears to be correct? Will use the app for a route I've already done in RideControl over the next few days so I can compare data to be sure.

Commute with the BikeSpeed-RS was great this morning, was zipping through back streets at 35km/h. All stats look correct on the display and checked within the Giant RideControl app and they look correct as well. So all in all a good upgrade which unlocks the speed and preserves the data. Would...

My BikeSpeed-RS turned up today, quicker than expected. Was a week from order via the post (DE to AU) to home. Neat little package with a small instruction book. After missing a few bolts, the engine wouldn't drop down. Watched the SpeedBox install video and I was off and away after having...

Color: yes it's white only Gears: it's a 10 speed, I find it's geared well and enough for what I want, cruising at 25-28 Km/h Components: Pretty much the same from what I can gather. Motor: Not sure, assume it's the same. Tyres: They may be different Change in years means incremental upgrades I...

So rode with the panniers fitted and largely full on the work commute. They went great, no movement out of them, which I was a little worried about. They came with shoulder straps so very quick and easy to release from rack and throw them over my shoulder. Was great not having a backpack on...

Giant Trance E+one pro and SX 0 pro

Good to hear Giant are owning the issue and working towards a resolution. Fingers crossed the 3rd bike gets you back out on the trails trouble free!

Once it starts getting cooler, reckon I'll probably opt for pants to ride in on the commute. So pulled the trigger and purchased 2 pannier bags after reading another members use of the Ortliebs without the rack deck. They appear to fit really well. Haven't ridden with them yet, that'll be...

    Greetings from Melbourne, Australia

Thanks all for the warm welcome! Will be sure to post some pics in the coming weeks. Has been quite warm down-under this summer, hasn't stopped me getting out though. Would love to have a restriction of 45kph in Australia @Tim859 means we wouldn't be looking at 'un-restricting' them.

Giant Trance E+one pro and SX 0 pro

Hi Rob, Have a Trance E+ 3 Pro for about 4 months now and have never experienced that problem, when you say lose all power, I'm guessing it's showing as off on the controller and you have to turn it back on again? You can't even accidentally turn it off as it requires a decent long press to...

Thanks, finding the cadence is pretty high (for me) to maintain that kind of speed downhill, feel quite comfortable maintaining around 70-75. But it's something to work on and improve I guess.

Lol, I got my bike from that store, the guy who served me went looking for the spare as he'd originally ordered it. At least it went to a good home :) Do you have a chain guard fitted with the 48T, paranoid of getting the pants caught in it. Not to fussed about the data from the Giant app, as...
