I just turned over 9600 miles on mine. July will be two years of ownership. Original battery, only basic (expected) maintenance on bike. My commute is 18 miles each way; I shoot for 3 or 4 days every week commuting this way. It rides like its new.

Ill be bringing this in for the local bike shop to resolve--I don't want to screw up my ability to stop effectively during my commute. Many thanks for your insight.

What I'm replacing is the brake body with handle on my handlebars. I broke the original, no leaks, just destroyed the lever mount beyond repair...so I bought a new one. Is it a simple swap? Just unscrew the hydraulic brake-line from the body and screw it into the new one? Before I make a mess...

Front sprocket looked fine, I replaced the chain, vibration comes when in turbo pedaling hard, coasting, then pedaling again. I rotated my pedals after the chain was off, I don't think it's a bearing issue--very smooth in both directions. I'll keep at it. Thanks for the suggestions.

Thanks—I’m throwing the bike on my stand Sunday night and cleaning everything and replacing the chain (I’m due) and front sprocket—maybe that will fix it?
