Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

The French (as usual ;)) are to blame for that. Aeroplane (Aéroplane) is a French word the British adopted. The French themselves derived from the Greek word for Air, Aēr. :) Despite dropping the word Aeroplane, the Americans still use the words Aerospace and Aeronautics. :p

When will Vado SL 4.0(or 5.0) upgrate in 2025

The SL 2 is the updated version of this bike - but as you know it's basically a completely different bike, and considerably more expensive. If you're wondering if they'll put the 1.2 motor in a Vado SL 1 and make a new "6.0" bike, it's extremely unlikely. The original Vado SL 1 has been out of...

Granted, we're not being hit like up further north, but I was in the garden at 4 am this morning tying down garden furniture to stop it flying away... I also have a outdoor storage tent like thing I keep stuff in that nearly flew over a 6ft fence into my neighbors garden. It's windy! :p

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

I hope it didn't happen while out riding!!! :( When I changed the tyres on my bike the inner-tubes were stuck to the tyres, I had to peel them off!

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Haha this is true, the Vado SL has returned and is safely back in it's stable! :) Having previously mentioned that I was waiting on a new battery to be delivered from Specialized, it turns out Specialized sent a package of entirely new electrical components! A new motor, a new battery and a new...

    D-Lock for Supercharger 2

I also picked up a Hiplok DX recently, and it would be another I'd recommend. Smaller than the LiteLok, but big enough for most bikes - although you'd have to check if it will fit the supercharger. Sold Secure Diamond Rated, so your insurance company will be happy, and it's relatively cheap - at...

    Bafang M620 Quiet Gears

It's tight but not completely form fitting. So there is a possibility, but alas I'll have to see. I have my doubts, but think it's worth a look. Testing with industrial plasticine will give a good idea of where (if any) there is clearance between the mount and motor for it to be applied. The...

    Bafang M620 Quiet Gears

Yep it's quieter to a degree but far from silent. I think the issue might be compounded by resonance through the frame. I'm going to try add a thin sound deadening rubber layer between the motor and mount, but the tolerances are fairly tight so might not be able too - or for it to have much...

EBR on the fritz: Very slow responses, glitchy posting, no search

I've been trying a few video editors recently and hadn't heard of this one, I'll give VSDC a download. 👍 DaVinci Resolve is the one I've settled on so far, and it's an excellent professional-level video editor and colour-grader. The free version is packed with features and it's just £300 to buy...

EBR on the fritz: Very slow responses, glitchy posting, no search

I don't think it's worth jumping to any conclusions just yet... There's a lot of configuration to consider when moving servers, apache/nginx php/db etc... and issues can easily occur... All will hopefully be resolved soon enough.

    D-Lock for Supercharger 2

The LITELOK X1 or X3 would be a good choice. Relatively big, and good at withstanding attacks from an angle grinder!

Now there's an idea! ;) Might not compare to the Lake District or the mountains found in Scotland or Wales, but the Chiltern Hills are hilly. :D

You'll mostly find them on rivers. Canals typically have weirs and sluices to control the amount of water - but any overflow usually goes into a nearby river.
