    Offset Saddle Adapter

Other setback showed up for the other wired bike. The measured seat setback is 3". Without the setback pedaling would push you forward off the seat. Weird geometry.

On that note think I'll just cut mine and use it to move the seat back. Don't need the bouncy bouncy anyway. Actually don't need to cut it. Perfect the first time:)

    Offset Saddle Adapter

I envision a production run with extras made, being sold out the back door at a discount, branded under whatever imaginative name the purchaser can come up with, sold on amazon till there are no more, then the shop closing. To be continued another time. This defines amazon to some degree.

    Offset Saddle Adapter

Here's the one I bought. Reading customer reviews, it's a toss up, didn't read of any breaks. Says it will support 550#. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09V2B9F5F?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

    Offset Saddle Adapter

I got my spring mounted up. I didn't cut it, cause, cut once cry once. That thing has a lot of spring, takes a lot of down angle to compensate. I am gonna try it for a while as shipped and see if I like it. I am 180#, don't know how it would treat heavier riders, lighter shouldn't be any...

    Saddle height: The deciding factor?

I go by feel anymore, I have a pretty good idea what works for me. My theory, when you sprint as in running, accelerating, you are at the optimum knee angle for your condition. When riding the bike, I know what kind of knee angle I can use and push the most on the pedals. It is nice to be...

    No hands riding

I switched tires on the como, from the oem s works to the schwalbe pick up. The s works are pretty thin on the sidewall, prob goes back to the gram weenies and saving a buck. The pick ups had pretty stout sidewall. Noticed it is much easier to ride no hands with the pick ups. Previously with...

Is it possble to covert 26x4 to 3 onch tire and rim combo

This is where it gets weird, or wired.:). The rear wheel uses 10 ga spoke and nipple, the new rims are made for 12 ga. I had thought to drill the rim for the new hardware but looking at the pieces the holes would be pretty big, especially inside to get the nipple head through. The holes in...

Is it possble to covert 26x4 to 3 onch tire and rim combo

Mine are the RSTs. Work pretty good really from the short run i made with the smaller tire. There is movement fore and aft without compression over some of the terrain so I wouldn't call them top notch stuff. The 4" rim I took off was pretty stout. It has three ribs inside the double wall...

Is it possble to covert 26x4 to 3 onch tire and rim combo

There it is. I got tired of waiting for the schwalbe pick up to show up so went down to wally's place and bought their in stock cruiser special for $20. Not a bad tire really, 40-65 psi recommendation. The white wall is a nice touch:). The fender may look a little funky, that is as low as it...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Installed a Schwalbe pick-up on the front. Thought I detected better roll when I installed the Schwalbe on the rear. Put one on the front and there is definitely a difference. I think everybody hollering about the difference between power assist and pedal only difference may be attributed to...

Is it possble to covert 26x4 to 3 onch tire and rim combo

So I took apart the 26 x 4 fatbike front tire. Has the regular hub, no electric. Was hoping the spokes and such could be used on the Husky 26" rim. Calculation says the spokes need 4mm more length. So close. Surprise, Husky has the spokes, 258mm in stock with nipples for $50, so order on...
