Has anyone swapped from the twosie to onesie shifter? Kindernay will only sell the complete onsie unit with actuator, which is very frustrating that they will force you spend $450 just to change the shifter. Especially since I already paid the premium for the XIV over the VII when it was available.

That's very useful. Do you know if the "protections" stats are reset once you plug the battery back in to re-charge? I'm seeing 0 for everything, but the battery is re-charging now. Do you find the "total voltage" stat a better indicator of how much battery life you have left?

That's a good point of comparison. I have a feeling it shouldn't be cutting out like this but only have others that have reported similar issues to compare with. Before this latest batch of Hydra's, I didn't anyone posting about cutouts, other than the wire issue WW ran to ground.

I have had both issues. When I first got the bike, a few times it completely shut off. I had to wait and turn the whole system back on. More recently, it has also stopped providing power but did not shut down. In this case, I wait a second or two and start pedaling again.
