My wife's trike arrived yesterday. Opened it up, and both rear fenders were bent, twisted. One was so bad there was no way the tire would turn Odd, as there was no damage to the box. Also, the left parking brake did not operate properly. Contacted Lectric and they are sending new fenders...

Maybe the insurance you sell does, but mine specifically stated they do not. Ergo, using Velosurance. Not arguing the point, just stating my specific case.

Actually, when researching this, and talking with my insurance carrier they do not insure E-bikes for the simple reason that it has a motor. I would suggest, that if you check with your carrier, on home insurance, they do not cover E-bikes either for the same reason. My carrier is USAA for...

Sorry for late reply. In the end, went with Velosurance. Pretty much all e-bike insurance is underwritten by Markel. Ended up around $200 a year premium.

I'm curious if this is possible: can the Purion display (on a Trek Verve +3) be reprogramed to allow the "walk mode" and headlight on / off feature to operate? I have not seen anything that defines how to do this, and seemingly, this feature is not available (from the dealer) in North America...
