Hey maybe we can enlist the same NASA scientists trying to nail down the handlebar vibration/smart phone camera dilemma to chime in on the specific sound/pressure waves caused by helmet straps and their affect on tinnitus 🙃
fyi.... That's a pipe wrench... Jaw designed to grab round objects.
If you don't have the correct socket and breaker bar.. use the correct jaw adjustable
I'll add to my post... You may want to try locking the rear shock when loaded up. It'll probably handle better and the fat tires may provide enough cush'
I had those brakes on my BBS02B build and they were more than adequate. But that bike was about 45 pounds.
Not a big fan of that much weight on the rear suspension. Loaded up with that much unsprung weight it turns the rear into a whale tail. I guess if you're just relatively low speed commuting...
Good point on time/experience. I used Propel for parts, not repair...and Zen picked up the bill.
That said... Once you have it apart the Rohloff is not complex rocket science and the instructions are pretty straight forward with plenty of video available. After the first half hour I felt more...
I concur.
My Zen is similar to his with a Rohloff and I may never go back to a derailleur.
If Zen won't assist under their 3 year warranty, Rohloff may since this failure is on a fairly new unit.
I've dealt with Propel for my Rohloff and they were pretty responsive with locations in NY and CA.
Of all the old tools I have.... This Stanley level is probably the only one that I use occasionally.
I have a pair of the 24" and a 12"
They're solid steel I_beam and very accurate.... But the 24" weighs over 4 pounds so you need to be very careful not to drop it
