Pull what's in back down and then pull them all in together. Stagger the forward ends so the head is not one big nut.

It's typically printed on the ring... But you might have to remove it (or the guard) to see. Alternatively... You could just count them.

The smaller chainring is actually better for your motor as well. Default on the Ultra is typically 40t... I know I've seen 36t...but...
