    Appidura Expedition E-Bike Charger Pack

I clicked on the product link, and a pop-up informed me that shipping to the US has been suspended while the company recalculates the tariff-inclusive price. Revelate is hand-stitched in Alaska, so I guess this is (finally) an example of Trump's tariffs working as intended. Aushiker -> Apidura...

    Delite and Homage 5

I've found a Pinion North America office in CO, which might indicate planting a flag. OTOH, Stromer had a North American office as well. IMO, what is required before Pinion MGU models make it here is UL certification and a support network for the integrated drive/gearbox and FIT batteries...

    Can't decide! Nevo or Homage...

Hmm. The gen2 drive can be extended via Bosch service kits, so I would hope for similar for later generation system 2. Also, my impression is that in Europe, you have more options for 3rd-party drive unit support. My primary concern would concern the batteries and any proprietary parts on the...

    Disappointing Bosch update

OP lives in the US, where Haibike has not been available for years. Assuming Gen2 Performance Line CX. An update near end of Gen2 swapped EMTB mode for Sport by default, with retention of Sport as a configurable option. That EMTB did not feel much different from Tour was a common complaint at...

Rohloff or Vario? The Homage -- first year 2x625w was available was 2021, was it not? $7400 is a lot of money for a used bike, so I personally would not be able to evaluate the Homage w/o knowing MY, mileage, drivetrain option, error-free and recent Bosch report indicating #battery cycles for...

With 125% tariffs, will the e-bike market die?

Which one? 1. Tariffs 'ending' in a month. No. 2. Sad businesses sitting on overstock. No.

    SuperDelite MY2021 Front fender mount

FWIW. Mine did the same on a Load60 except, for better or worse, the fender twisted but did not completely snap off. I was told it is designed to snap off/shatter .... This left me with an immobilized bike (front wheel could not move due to jammed fender) that I had to pick up and "dolly" off...

    Mark up on e-bike?

Are they models already in stock with a few miles on them? I'd consider those demos, then, and you should request a demo/floor discount, esp since you're buying two. Of course, the dealer could counter with a claim of pre-tariff import, meaning you will save as compared to an order made today...

My experience has been that 'RM says no' may lead to denial of warranty if there's an issue.

The New Wheel is a great shop(s). Got some service work done while in CA. Wish they were local to me.

    Can't decide! Nevo or Homage...

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess. The Homage looks like a penguin to me. I think the decision comes down to how badly do you want the full suspension vs a suspension seatpost? Is it worth the extra weight/cost of the Homage? Only you can determine this.

Tern to up some models by $2k. Bike shop owner in MN in 'panic mode.' https://www.minnpost.com/economy/2025/04/minneapolis-bike-shop-owner-in-panic-mode-over-tariffs-uncertainty/

Well, DJT is now rumbling with Harvard.
