Hi. Cool rig. Have you written up the story anywhere? How far do you travel, how long for a full charge, what the electronics are and how they form a system?

Would you know if the stronger special gates belt is also stiffer or has greater resistance? I ask because my new Como 5.0 motor seems to not have the power to help get me up to the 28mph which I could do on the previous motor.
Como 5.0. I inspect the chain and replace when it reaches .5. So, chain replaced at 1700 miles and again at about 3200 miles. At the second chain replacement the two smallest cogs needed replacement. Now watching chain stretch and cog wear more closely. To early to tell but it seems that the...
Ahh, thank you, Stefan, for the correction. I didn't know that the model year was part of the Part No. Since the year was not mentioned on the page I assumed it was the current model.
Comparing the Specialized specification page for 2020 Como 5.0 it seems some things are different from my 2020 purchased May 2019 . Can anyone explain what these differences mean in terms of quality, durability, and effort to make speed? Anyone know why the COmo went to a 10 Speed set up...
Specialized Rider care told me that the 2020 Como 5.0 came with 126 links. A LBS replaced the worn original chain with 128 links and everything worked well. I eventually replaced that with 126 links and that works well. So, like you said. . . maybe it matters, maybe it don't.
I just got a new motor for my 2020 Como 5.0. It, and my old motor, is on 7.1.1 firmware. The old motor was updated before replacement and the new motor came with 7.1.1. I mmediately noticed how much more difficult it was to attain higher speeds beyond 23 -24 mph, even on a level paved bike...
2020 Como 5.0 (purchased May 2019). Belt failed at 4410 miles. Specialized replaced entire motor. Free parts and labor.
Not related but FYI replaced chain at 1700 miles and again at 3200 miles. Replaced cassette at 3200 miles also. Still riding on original Nimbus II tires.
