got my maths wrong - forgot to multiply my mass x gravity (9.8) to get N - oops.
100kg x 9.8m/s^2 x 0.17m = 167Nm add 20% = 200 - so adding the eBike motor is not such a significant increase
Digging up a old thread.
I just cleaned and lubed the chain on my mid-drive Giant, then measured with my X tools chain checker and it just fits on the 0.75 side (the X tools checker has 0.75 and 1.0 sides), so time to replace the chain.
This will be the third chain on my e-bike from new, ie...

thanks for the responses - another month has gone by on the original chain, so I just pulled the trigger on a KMC e11 that was "in stock".
I also had a look at the total mileage on my e-bike - only 1500km...so then I looked at some YouTube vids on using a chain wear tool... :)

I've recently had some eBike shutdown issues on my Giant over the last couple of months, where the screen goes blank and the motor cuts out :(
Once on a ride is annoying, 4 times on my daily commute was getting ridiculous so time to take it into a Giant LBS.
I had a chat to the guy in the Giant...
reviving an old thread - my Giant Revolt e bike display speed is higher than my gps speed, and others' cycle computers when riding together.
Can it be re-calibrated (by the LBS or who-ever?)

I've noticed when riding with others that my speed reads a little higher than others' cycle computers, eg cruising along theirs will read 20km/h and mine says say 24km/hr.
Similarly when I look at Strava data after a ride, where I've been hitting the 25km/h limit constantly and back off a little...
nice clean cockpit without the Giant Ridecontrol Evo - I run a Cycliq front camera/light and fortunately the bell fits underneath the control on the left side, but the camera makes a cramped cockpit

Last time I removed the quick link to clean my chain I mucked around with circlip pliers/needle nose pliers etc to remove the quick link, and it was tedious/fiddly/time consuming.
After that I decided to buy the Park tool for the job...cost me $40...

My experience with the 2020 Giant Revolt e pro are very different from @doctom54 's - which he hopefully gets sorted soon.
I've only had mine for 2 months with 500km on the clock, but it rocks!

my acoustic with skinny tyres requires topping up weekly or so...I run them around 100psi.
My e-bike has 45mm gravel tyres, and since purchase (1 Feb) I've not pumped them up...but the LBS pumped them up to 65 psi at the 1st service last weekend...I reckon I'll get another month until they need...
