    Anyone with a 2020 Revolt E Pro?

old thread - but this may assist some... ...I had a similar issue after 9 months or so of ownership of my Revolt - the bike would just shut down mid ride. Unlocking the battery and re-seating it mid-ride seamed to resolve the issue temporarily - which led me to think it was oxidisation on the...

I've ordered cranks from overseas - they're a spline crank, not square taper

I managed to take a tumble off the bike yesterday in the wet :( The usual bark off, but I'm OK otherwise...I felt a bump on the head, so time for a new helmet! Riding away after picking myself up, I could feel something wasn't right with the left side pedal/crank...and after swapping the pedal...

thanks for the responses - another month has gone by on the original chain, so I just pulled the trigger on a KMC e11 that was "in stock". I also had a look at the total mileage on my e-bike - only 1500km...so then I looked at some YouTube vids on using a chain wear tool... :) My rooky mistake...

I've recently had some eBike shutdown issues on my Giant over the last couple of months, where the screen goes blank and the motor cuts out :( Once on a ride is annoying, 4 times on my daily commute was getting ridiculous so time to take it into a Giant LBS. I had a chat to the guy in the Giant...

Any way to adjust EVO display for different tire size?

reviving an old thread - my Giant Revolt e bike display speed is higher than my gps speed, and others' cycle computers when riding together. Can it be re-calibrated (by the LBS or who-ever?) Mike

I've noticed when riding with others that my speed reads a little higher than others' cycle computers, eg cruising along theirs will read 20km/h and mine says say 24km/hr. Similarly when I look at Strava data after a ride, where I've been hitting the 25km/h limit constantly and back off a little...

    Anyone with a 2020 Revolt E Pro?

nice clean cockpit without the Giant Ridecontrol Evo - I run a Cycliq front camera/light and fortunately the bell fits underneath the control on the left side, but the camera makes a cramped cockpit cheers Mike

The Ultimate Mid-Drive Chain Care Thread

Last time I removed the quick link to clean my chain I mucked around with circlip pliers/needle nose pliers etc to remove the quick link, and it was tedious/fiddly/time consuming. After that I decided to buy the Park tool for the job...cost me $40... Had the quick link off in 10sec...there's a...

    Anyone with a 2020 Revolt E Pro?

My experience with the 2020 Giant Revolt e pro are very different from @doctom54 's - which he hopefully gets sorted soon. I've only had mine for 2 months with 500km on the clock, but it rocks! Awesome torque and assistance from the Yamaha px2 that hauls my f@t@ss up the steepest Brisbane...

    Tires don't hold pressure long!

my acoustic with skinny tyres requires topping up weekly or so...I run them around 100psi. My e-bike has 45mm gravel tyres, and since purchase (1 Feb) I've not pumped them up...but the LBS pumped them up to 65 psi at the 1st service last weekend...I reckon I'll get another month until they need...

Group Riding with Traditional Gravel Cyclists on E-Bike (dilemmas)

I'm completely comfortable with drafting, having ridden in bunches for decades, and in years gone by have occasionally targeted trucks and busses to draft behind, which is obviously not a safe practise. Recently I had a roadie draft behind me for many km on the flats. When the terrain turned...

Group Riding with Traditional Gravel Cyclists on E-Bike (dilemmas)

that is awful... Your point is very well made, especially, But as you point out it's also about your actions within the group, ie No wonder you were accepted/invited back again... @Stefan Mikes - either bike should be fine, just stay back unless there's a flat stage with a headwind, in which...

I have a chain keeper for my acoustic to be able to clean the chain without the wheel on, but it's designed for quick release road wheels and doesn't fit the Giant with its 12mm through axle :( I need to get one of these...

    A Road-Cyclist Thoughts On E-Bikes

agreed! The road guys I ride with are very happy for me to take the front with a headwind on the flats... ...they're all much fitter/stronger than I am, so what would it prove to pass them on the hills using e-power? The guys I ride with are ridiculously competitive - them tucking behind me on...

My Giant Revolt went in for its 1st service today, 7 weeks from purchase...I'll pick it up tomorrow (I love bike shops that are open Sundays) The only niggle was a slight looseness in the headset, which I couldn't identify off the bike, but I could feel it on the road. The guy in the LBS where...

I have to admit - I almost backed out of buying an ebike after joining EBR - glad I didn't

Just love my e-bike (Giant Revolt). I've been commuting to work for the last 15 years or so by bicycle - for the last few years it had become a chore on my acoustic as my knees got creakier and the hills got steeper :( My e-bike has made my cycle commute fun again, rather than being a chore...
