I went to check to see if my bike had a firmware update. Have not booted app for a year or two. Turns out the old Mission Control app is dead so I installed the new one and apparently no way to even see my firmware, let alone update it? Ridiculous.

This is incredibly appalling to read. If they don't want to do the right thing, might as well just file in small claims court. This LBS sounds dishonest.

I’ve been using this and after a couple of weeks, it has hiccups. Off the top of my head, it looks like the estimated battery range in terms of miles just doesn’t work.

Finally. I’ve had my Karoo 2 for at least over a year. Really love it. I never bought the Specialized computer for my Turbo Vado SL. The sales guy said I was making a big mistake. Nope. He had just never heard of Karoo 2.

Got a quote from LBS and Specialized dealer for $50. No thanks… anyone in Seattle know of a place? :)

I checked my Mission Control app. I don’t normally check it. 2200 miles on my bike. As mentioned, two chain replacements and one set of brakes replaced. I haven’t changed the tires but they seem ok? Any recommendations on tires for this bike? I just ride on paved roads that are in pretty good...

Here’s hoping the rest of the bike gets lighter weight to offset it :)

Are we talking about the Park Tool chain cleaner? We can’t use it on the Vado SL? Why not? I’ve been using it. Pushing the pedals forward is not resulting in a proper cleaning? Uh oh. My bad!

I had this issue when I bought mine earlier in the thread. I found another code that they didn’t mark with this restriction and succeeded. Keep trying different codes you may come across.

Just got mine and this thing is unbelievably good at tackling hills. Very impressed.

220 and it just about makes it. No way 160mm would work imo.
