Hi everyone,

I am looking forward to joining the forum.

We purchased our e-bikes in January 2020 and have been enjoying them ever since. E-biking has put the fun back into riding and allowed us to explore places we never would have considered before.

Living on the road, we have learned to handle our own repairs. So far, we have replaced brakes, tires, chains, rear cassettes, and a motor. We have also adjusted shifting, re-spoked two rims, built up a repair tool collection, and modified a bike stand to fit our receiver hitch.

Welcome aboard!

We'd love to see your bikes and the places you ride — guessing lots of places in your case! My 3 favorite forum threads are the ones for sharing ride photos.

Our bikes are Genevas by EG, they have held up well considering they have never been stored inside.

Hi Genova! I'm new too, it is so cool that you have learned how to repair the ebike on your own, I hope I can rearch that level of knowledge some day

Thanks, YouTube has helped us out a lot. We find that bike shops are either weeks out on repairs or don't want to work on e-bikes.

Between the bikes and the camper, we have learned how to fix many different things. It seems that when you do it yourself, the job gets done correctly.

We have had a few bad experiences with RV shops and a bike shop in the past. I always tell my wife, "It's already broken, so let's see if we can fix it." Start with the basics and you will get there.
