I guess that amusing meme hit home on us, rowing over to grape and pillage eh.
Well it seems they used sails not oars, the game caused us a crisis because we wanted Norway to keep going and you could feel the disappointment at the end of their run.

Especially as were watching it in an old Viking settlement

Norwegian airlines lost the bet and now have the British Airways logo on their instagram account

How do your commenters pronounce "Haaland"? I hope it is "Holland" with the short "o"? It is actually the character "å". I was fed with the Polish commenters pronouncing the name as "Ha-land".
 
Thorpe, too. It has remained in German as Dorf. "By" or "byen" (with en as the) is still present in Danish. (In Norwegian as well I think).
