While I don't necessarily need a Garmin Edge 1050, this one interests me because it has a touchscreen and a 3.5 inch display.

The part about HSA/FSA eligible for qualified customers caught my eye. I am just curious if anybody here has purchased a bike computer and been reimbursed with HSA/FSA funds? I have an HSA and I have only been drawing funds from it since 10-2025.

How to reimburse your purchase using HSA/FSA funds

You may be eligible for reimbursement from your pre-tax HSA or FSA funds for your purchase. We collaborated with Truemed to easily provide you the required Letter of Medical Necessity online if you qualify.

HOW IT WORKS

1 Complete your purchase Use your normal payment method.

2 Complete an online health survey after checkout On your order confirmation page or email, click the link to take a short reimbursement survey. Complete the health survey the same day as your purchase and our health advocacy collaborator, Truemed, will submit your survey to a licensed medical provider for evaluation.

3 Send paperwork to your HSA/FSA provider If you qualify, you will receive a Letter of Medical Necessity within days, along with instructions on how to submit your reimbursement request to your HSA/FSA provider.

Final qualification based on evaluation and approval from licensed provider.

It provides health metrics and supports training to improve your fitness. Would that count?
if you use it with a HRM on a e bike yes but without its not really doing anything but keeping track of what you do. With a power meter, too then it gives you everything. I found my Garmin with just the HRM did pretty good compared to my bosch with the power meter. on a non e bike the garmin and HRM gives you a lot of info. Between the powewr meter and HRM you really get the info.
