I have finally worn out my 2019 Haibike. Battery is at 2/3 power with a full charge. Motor was surging yesterday on a 26 mile power ride. I ain't complaining, I got 5 years out of the German built and imported 350 watt mid drive motor, Very happy with the results and the ride life I have had with it. RIP little 350 watt.
See an example here. How is it possible for a 52v battery to work with that controller if the das kit ct5-15 mosfet has 60v and the battery voltage at full charge is 58.8v?
Hi.I need some advice. I would like to buy a new battery with the new 21700 cells. I found a lot of ads on aliexpress, even on amazon where they sell 52v batteries for NCM Moscow. Can you confirm for me if the Das-Kit CT5-I5 controller can work with a 52v battery?

Hello. pls refer the another post.
@Bitmugger has shared their experience with 52V Dorado on Moscow.

I recently purchased a Himiway D5 (formerly called Zebra). The stock display reads five bars when fully charged and maintains five bars for around 35 miles. It then begins to drop off much faster. There is a voltage setting on the display. I would like to re-set it so that the battery displays a 20% drop at each level. Any suggestions?
Hello, I just saw that you have a DOST battery and charger from your recent posting. Do you still have it, and if so, how much?
Thanks!
Kelvin
Have a GonPeg Thunder Mountain E Bike Flat Blue have had a month no issues. The Bafang M620 Ultra 160Nm motor very powerful, should I worry about water with this motor. And the T700 Carbon frame is this a good frame any thoughts would be helpful.

Here's a shirt that I had made recently:

:) It is so true. I love the vid of the guy who can't walk, getting on a bike. Truly therapeutic and I will bet prophylactic too. The down side is that eBikes are highly addictive and it takes more and more to get the same thrill. The upside is a 350 pound man rode an eBike for a year, lost 100 pounds, and could quit diabetes drugs. All his vitals vastly improved and he met neighbors and made friends.

Hello Everyone!

First time poster here. I have a Specialized Vado SL Eq with Tektro HD-R510 hydraulic disc brakes and am thinking about switching to Magura brakes MT5 or 5E, MT4 or 4E for increased braking power. Any thoughts on the swap--or am I better off leaving well enough alone?

I'll give you $70 for them used, no rotors and I assume the pads are shot. Deal?

A bad idea. Your Tektros are high quality brakes. Magura brakes might even not be better than Tektros; some models could be actually worse. The main point, however, is Magura brakes are Post-Mount and are incompatible with your modern Flat-Mount e-bike frame.

I have decided to "Leave it Be" with the Tektros. I did a couple of steep descents and the stopping power was more than adequate. Thanks for your responses. Sorry, FiremarshallDave, the Tektros are staying on my bike.😉
