Z1 rear suspension

I want to replace the air shock with a coil shock. At my weight a coil shock works better. The Z1 spec page says the rear shock is a 210x57. I can't find any good choice in a coil shock at that dimension. Has anyone tried other sizes? What works without parts crashing into each other? Lots of options at 230 long.

A coil shock can cause interference issues on some bikes. A coil won't physically work on mine because of the lower bracket "pocket" that needs a narrower profile.

Just remove the rear shock and lift up on frame to fully extend the travel and measure the eye to eye distance.
Make sure when you extend the rear triangle only as far as that it doesn't hit or bind up on anything.
My friends did this for their bikes and went from a 190 x 50 shock to a 210 x 57.5 shock with zero problems.
Raised their bottom bracket height also in the process and further helped with any pedal strikes.
Their running 160 cranks too.

Apologies for the delay.
I should have shared a link to my thread on EMTB Forums.

The rear shock requirements from what I understand is 230x60 giving 150mm of rear wheel travel only.

I go into detail in the thread 👍🏿

Thank you for that great information. The selection for 230/60 shocks are much better. I wonder why Luna Cycles specs such a short shock.

Not too sure.
Although, I have been told that different rear shock sizes have been used within the frame.

The geometry changes but the rear wheel travel cannot exceed 150mm.
