XP Step Thru heel hitting kickstand

Anybody else having trouble with their heel hitting the kickstand on an XP step thru? To be fair, I wear a size 12 shoe and have ridden road/touring/recumbent bikes and trikes for 25+ years and I am used to the ball of my foot being over the pedal spindle. My left foot is quite "pigeon toed" in my natural position also. I'm gonna have to find some kind of solution, maybe even relocate the kickstand/mount.

Good idea! I like that better than messing with the existing kickstand. I am not sure my knees would like the change in Q factor, but cheap enough for an experiment.

I was having the same thing happen on my Espin and added the extenders and voila, problem solved.

Only happens if I have my foot too far back on the pedal. If you are riding flat pedals you really don't need the ball of your foot on the pedals. They've even done studies for what that is worth that keeping the pedal more or less centered front to back is better.
