I thought my S2 Levo which tips the scales at 23.25 kg (51lbs) needed to shed some weight. That includes a 700wh battery, heavier Magpeds and a 200g bash guard.

Weight only becomes an issue when the bike is stuck and youre having to heave it up a failed climb or out of a tricky hole.
My friend got his enduro stuck at the end of the day in this mud pit, it took us four hours to get it out, we had to build a raft of logs and use the last one as a lever with both of us swinging on it.
This bike weighs 220lb, it was unmovable without leverage assistance
