Why is VoltBike offering single bar and double bar step thru frame?

I'm thinking in the elegant line they might be switching over to single bar and that may allow them to upgrade the battery to a 19 amp or a 25 amp battery. As you can see the Yukon Step-Thru is single bar. I love the Step-Thru, especially as I get older. Tipping the bike to swing my leg over is not as easy and old school and hopefully change will make most bikes Step-Thru. I wish VoltBike would bring out a step-thru mid drive. I'd buy one.

why do people think having a top tube on a bicycle frame represent masculinity?

Because back in the day a step thru was sold as a girls bike.
Having a top tube didn't allow dresses to fall and they would blow up with speed.

Thanks for the video. That explains, it's not a fit problem or reason to change. I guess only VoltBike will know for sure.
