Who needs a bottle cage with these cageless bottles!

Court is always bemoaning the lack of mounts for water bottle cages on most ebikes. But here is a way around this problem, a bottle that clips onto the frame by itself:

Color me skeptical. Spring held? with water moving up and down with impacats? Seems like it would be very hard to have that fit tight enough on multiple sized tubing to not weaken and slip in short order. have to be a really stiff spring.

I could see it working well on the top tube, but doubtful in a vertical position with water sloshing up and down and bumps putting lots of force into driving that frame UP, and thusly, the bottle down.

A 'stop' on the seat post, underneath the bottle, would solve that problem.

Then you've added a bracket, same as a mount.

Too Funny! For $2 you just attach a clamp and use a normal bottle cage...

This CF effort just seems silly for a bike.. I do like it for boating though.. Those people love to spend!

Neat idea. I liked the photo of it in use at the job site, I could see it being handy in that application.
