Where can one order a discount acoustic bike these days (USA)?

A couple years ago, if I wanted a new acoustic bike, I would order from Trek Bicycle Superstore in San Diego, or Bicycle Blue Book. These locations have dried up.

I am just looking for a fitness hybrid bike for less than 500 USD that I can lock up and not be overly worried about it getting stolen. Ideally with disc brakes and 2" tires or wider.

Any suggestions on where to buy from? My LBS all sell at full MSRP.

How about the dreaded bikesdirect.com ? They only sell their own label these days. When I bought my GT Hybrid (shimano hydraulics, suspension fork, and Shimano cassette_ for $700 in 2015, they had it on clearance for $499 that winter.

At your price point, why not walmart? Craigslist? Any decent bike is going to cost more for new.

What about an amplified acoustic, or just put cardboard in the spokes for more beat.
