If we were to buy a low miles 2017 Vado 5.0, what suspension fork should we get for it?

As an owner of a 2017 Vado 5.0, I answer:
Front: Baramind BAM Trek suspension handlebars.
Rear: Either Kinekt 2.1 or Redshift ShockStop Seatpost. (Only Kinekt comes in 30.9 mm diameter).

There is one big problem with the MY 2017 Vado 5.0: The thru-axle is non-standard there. If you would like to source any suspension fork, you would need to buy a new compatible wheel-set, which is very expensive.

If the matters were simple, I would have replaced the fork back in 2019 when I bought my 2017 Vado 5.0.

Why not the Redshift ShockStop Stem then? Because the MY 2017 Vado is equipped with a non-standard stem... And that model requires an operable display that has to be mounted centrally on the original Specialized stem and which allows display cables go through the stem.

It has a Cane Creek Thudbuster seat post on it. So no suspension fork but rather a suspension handlebar? I didn't even know they made those...

There is no practical way to replace the fork there. I have used the Baramind handlebars since March 2020 and use them today, too.
