What kind of helmets do you guys/gals wear?

Interesting. I was checking out POC yesterday at a bike shop. My neighbor likes his. But the backcountry looks like a snow helmet. How's the ventilation?

It's basically an all weather helmet - it comes with vent blockers and ear pads that can be removed for summer. It's warmer than a standard light racers helmet but I find it okay especially as I ride an ebike so less work. It's also heavier than a racer helmet but then it has multi-impact foam, Kevlar and mips liners surrounded by a hard shell so you'd expect it to.

I'm looking forward to not having to wear a hat under my helmet in the winter.

Some use it to skateboard with and there's a good review on YouTube made by a skateboarder which swayed my decision.

I use the Bern Allston. According to their website, it's their first helmet designed specifically for cycling and has plenty of venting.

Compared to my previous helmet, the venting keeps my head much cooler and I no longer have helmet hair when arriving for appointments and don't want to look like I just got off a bike.

I ordered a Kask Urban Lifestyle. Basically for the same reason as Paul E. It's the one that fit me best in the store with glasses.

This is one sweet looking helmet! However, I don't see it available for sale anywhere :-(
