I had been pushing myself over the years riding my 1986 model 16" Dahon at the park, but there's one hill that the "little engine that could" couldn't master without zigzagging or using gravity to get me up the hill. So, I went from that 3-speed bike to an inexpensive 6-speed folding bicycle and it was a little easier but I still had to zigzag half way up that one hill. Enter the age of the electric bicycle. Tah-Dah! I searched for weeks for an affordable folding electric bicycle. Most were on the heavy side in weight or too heavy for my wallet so I decided to find a decent cruiser full size electric bicycle. I finally came across what I consider an "entry level" Ebike for around $400 including shipping. Skeptical since it's my 1st Ebike but the reviews were mostly good. I put it together myself with a little difficulty as one might expect from an inexpensive bike, with just two small issues. The next day I set off on my 1st ride to the park from the house and back (14 miles round trip) and was an expert on Ebikes by the time I got home after resting 15+ minutes at my halfway point inside the park. I bungee corded a small cooler, on the rear rack, with a quart of ice water in it before I left. So, now that I am an expert on Ebikes, I shall attempt to "use the force" to transfer my wealth of experience to your brain housing group. P.S. I might have to ask a few questions later, just in case I missed something during my two hours of experience. Ha-Ha!
