No, it was a different forum which I didn't like so I came here, right now it's the start of winter so that gives me 3 more months of snow to keep up my work out. so that would get me to that 330 weight. I bought my bike 7 days ago because I thought it would take a few months to get here but I was wrong it will be here on friday.
Sup Big JAY!
Here's my rundown...
I'm 6'3" and weigh 315 right now on my way down from 330+..
I have a new 1.0. with 160 miles on it.. Unfortunately I have to work sometimes too!
I added a second 48v 20ah battery and controller (on the rack along with a trunk bag full of tools). And, the free saddlebags too. I use them for beer and snacks for those park trips.
I also added a front hub motor to mine for extra torque.. so it pulls me up hills like crazy. I freakin love this bike!!
Then I added motorcycle tires which are heavier than the stock tires and thicker. I was worried about flats even with the tannus armour I had in.
So..YES!!! It will hold you.. Mine does, and with my weight plus the stuff on my rack, I bet I'm up to 360 in down force on that rim.
That's why I upgraded my tires. However my bike now weighs over 80 some pounds.. I've given up on using it as a folder unless its an emergency. There's pictures here in the accessory post. They are older pics some upgrades aren't shown, like tires and the bigger saddlebags i added under the trunk bag
I use it for bike paths and street.. No jumps or stuff like that.
But no worries on dirt trails!
Just be advised that the 20 inch rims hit hard on speed bumps and such.. slow way down if you see them first.. it can be jarring due to the smaller rim diameter.
I grew up racing BMX.. I just don't try to be that young madman anymore..lol!
Enjoy!!!
Cheers!
