Water Resistance

Hi all,
Just clocked mile 100 on my new LMTD today in the rain. My practice is to remove the battery when transporting the bike, so today the bike (sans battery) got a good soaking. Is the bike, controller and display generally "water resistant? I dried everything off when I got home but was hoping for assurance that I needn't worry.

They are water resistant not waterproof, As long as you towel the bike off when you get home you should be good. Also putting a ziplock bag over the display helps.
