Water in battery compartment?

Hello from Gothenburg, Sweden and an expectant Homage owner!

I have just ordered a Homage Vario an when discussing my choice with a friend he pointed out the possibility of water collecting at the bottom of the battery tube. Has anyone experienced such a problem?

I'm not familiar with Homage, but Most purpose built Ebikes have battery compartments that are sealed pretty well, Same for the controllers as there should be a gasket sealing electrical components. ?

Get yourself some ACF50 or Boeshield and spray the connections and any exposed electronics. Works like a charm in nasty wet weather.
