Especially Yates. Though if he recovers in time? Need an update on injuries. Horrible crash. Reminds me of that one in the Tour a few years ago in Brittany small lanes where a woman held out a cardboard sign for cameras and brought down half the peloton. Grand Tour crashes seem to be worse for some reason. Tense peloton maybe.

Wonder if police would have legal grounds to arrest on assault (directly to the lungs).
Meanwhile, I'd love to see nearby fans intervene. It's assault on them, too. I know, asking a lot of courage with all the crazies out there these days. But it'd sure be fun to watch the flare folks get what's coming to them on live TV.
Here's a fantasy for you: The Flare Response Unit launches a drone that drops a containment dome over the flare and its holder till the K9 unit gets there.

French authorities came down hard on her. Can't remember if she got a jail sentence but it was mooted.

Yates, if he recovers well. Almaeida, Christen (assuming he gets through the Giro unscathed), Del Toro, McNulty, Narvaez (same as Christen), Pollitt, Veermaerke, Wellens. He will be fine.
