I have had Ortleib panniers on my Aventon Level for years and they have been great. However, i recently bought a Giant Stance E plus and found I needed panniers for that bike as well. I bought an Aeroe rack with a pannier receiver and bought on of the recommended panniers, the Ortlieb “City.”
The City has a different buckle system than my old panniers. The old one was simple with one buckled strap over the flap. The new one has buckles on the side and is very cumbersome. I emailed Ortlieb and asked for a fix, but they didn’t have one. Be careful that you never buy one with side buckles.
