Used Chopsticks, What Do You Do? Most Whimsical, Practical, or Creative Ideas.

Ha, were they the inspiration for Wayne's World 😂

Bob and Doug were the inspiration for all Canadians in the early 80's.
Mike Myers is a Canadian from Toronto.

My friend and I started watching SCTV in 1979 and we saw the first episode of Bob and Doug in Sept 1980.
It Blew our Fricken Minds !! 😂
I don't think I had ever laughed so hard in my life up until that point.
(Then we discovered 🍻 and started laughing harder. 😂)

Within a few months, everyone who was anyone, was talking like Bob and Doug.
My mother HATED It.

"Why are you two talking so Stupid ?!?!!"

I remember talking to our grade 11 English teacher about our national heroes, and he said "There are actually people who talk like that."

Non of us in class believed him.
NOBODY actually talks like that !!??

As it turns out.
Some of us Canucks actually do talk like that.
On purpose.
And they can't help it. 😂

PS,.. A Hoser is someone who steals gas from cars at night with a gas can and a length of garden hose.
Back in the days when gas caps weren't locked.

PSS,.. Bob and Doug were so popular and part of our Canadian culture that even the government got involved and made a postage stamp in their honor with a Big Capital letter "A" in the top righthand corner.

Instead of the proper English spelling "EH", like in the Andy Capp Cartoons that you're probably familiar with?
The government suits didn't have a fricken clue.

We were all supposed to stick the stamps on upside-down in protest eh.

PSSS,.. In the first Wayne's World movie, the guys were laying on the hood of their car and watched a jet fly overhead.
That was filmed in Toronto on Silver Dart Lane.

I was there about 30 years ago with my sister and brother-in-law who lived near the Toronto International Airport.
It was pretty 😎
You could see the people in the jets looking out their windows just 20 feet above our heads. 😂

I remember the whistling of the Star Trek theme, I was less cynical in those days and never thought it might not be him doing it.

I forgot that part.
I had to Google it.
I haven't seen the movie in decades.

That's Silver Dart Lane at Toronto International Airport though.

When I was there, there was a vendor selling hot dogs from his cart.
(You guys call 'em Bangers I think?)

There were employees from the Airport Service Road on the other side of the fence that managed to buy hot dogs because they would fit through the fence.

,.. from the piping hot eggrolls before dipping them in plumb sauce.

You better check the sauce before you start dipping your food in it,..

If it is REALLY Thick, you're using the wrong sauce,.. 😂

Interestingly, the no-name Plum Sauce I have is made from pumpkin. 🎃

There's just a bit of actual plum added so they aren't lying on the label.

Try eating mashed potatoes with chopsticks.
In Canada it works. Just like in Australia where the toilets are backwards spinning The chill thickens that mash. Okay, how about a chainline gauge? How far do you need to crosschain the chopstick alignment pointer before it can't theoretically shift. Picking up small poisonous spiders? The lady that I fell for six-months-ago is a nurse by profession, cool. It turned out she is a hospice director of care. Yesterday when visiting one of her neighbors, it turns out that she lives with a graveyard view. Right there! She goes everyday from a graveyard to a hospice back to a graveyard! That sounds like a Netflix plot for the Angle of Death. I have antibodies against her now.
