Upgrading from Cobi.bike to Nyon?

You main issue is more of an Apple one than Bosch. Apple gear is famous for not playing well with others. My polar hrm works quite reliably with my nyon as does my Samsung android phone.
thats what I use but I don't connect it to the phone. but still at least once a day I have turn turn off bluetooth hand back on to get the HRM and sometimes the phone connected. but it seems worse while using two nyons with the same phone and HRM

It wouldn't surprise me, though in all fairness to the Apple products, neither has an issue connecting to anything else we connect them to via Bluetooth.

I have had issues for eyars connecting to headphones from apple or with the apple chip. not so much with other things but sometimes.

I complained recently about Strava not being supported on my new Nyon. Tonight however I found Strava on Ebikeconnect. Earlier today I upgraded my Apple Watch and was checking various apps. I’ll see on tomorrow’s ride if the HR monitoring isuue has been remedied.

crap I forgot about tht. got to check it out since it will sync as trips that will do it. save me using my Garmin so much. but its only the app update not the nyon

well it works sending to starve. it takes a bit. nit usually a issue but when I want to connect my videos to my ride on strava I will have to wait for the info to get there. I notice the watts averages are lower. this ride on the tandem was 103 strava has it at 88

That's my experience also. iPhones are pretty bad when it comes to working with non-Apple kit. My Google Pixel 5 works well with the Nyon bluetooth, my Bluetooth HR also works fine.

Perhaps wait for the Apple Ebike? I'm sure it will work perfectly, and further lock you into the Apple ecosystem.

I just upgraded to a Nyon this weekend and had my first ride yesterday. Sync with Strava was part of my setup via the iOS partner app. Synced with no issues.

"strangely," my iphone works perfectly with both my ebikes, both my bluetooth heart rate monitors, and the bluetooth power and cadence sensors of my non e-bike. and my car stereo, and the little bluetooth alarm clocks in every hotel room i've stayed in in the last 10 years, and about a dozen other things.

user error?

You're riding a Bosch E-Bike Mark? :) I didn't know :D
(Users here experience issues with Bosch ware, not with iPhones).
