Hi,
I have just bought an e-bike that was cheaply offered in my local convenience store, however I would like to remove the limiter at 25km/h or at least increase it. I have read that, in general, all you need to do is detach the speed sensor wire, usually white, and the limit is gone. But my bike does not have any detachable wire, instead all the wires are soldered to circuit board and this is glued to the housing, which makes de-soldering one by one quite a challenge. I could just cut the wire if I knew which one to cut with enough certainty.
I am thinking, maybe it would be easier to check in the motor, how the speed is measured, and try to detach it there? Or is there a simple solution? I am attaching a photo of the circuit board.
Thank you in advance!
