Biking days are over until this heals.

Helmet - check
Gloves - check
Emergency patches - check
portable air pump - check
Knee and elbow guards - nope

end result.. ( cue price is right loser music )

Be careful out there Wallke riders.

What’s the problem? You’re not even bleeding! Besides, knee pads wouldn’t have helped.
Seriously hope you heal quickly!

Trust me. It was bleeding and I was 4 miles away from home. Had to pedal while giving me throbbing, stinging pain. Got home. cleaned it up, sprayed bactine and neosporine. :)

That looks painful... and I know because my arms and legs had similar scrapes.

I hope that was the worst of it and glad you are okay. I assume the Wallke was okay too? So what happened?

Sorry, just kidding. I was there just last summer! I was sure I broke at least one rib and landed on my head. X-rays revealed no fractures and my helmet saved my noggin.

It was a low-speed crash. No power. Was making a u-turn and must have hit some loose dirt, front wheel just slipped out and that was it. Scraped the left grip, left pedal and part of the center stand when the bike is folded.

Mine was also a very low speed incident. Got off the paved trail into the grass and didn’t have a sharp enough angle getting back onto the pavement. I also hit where there was a chunk out of the pavement. Front tire slid out from under me and I went down. No damage to the bike beyond a scraped pedal.
