Sorry no photos. From Ventura to Carpinteria is all bike path or bike lane, alongside the ocean until you get into Carpinteria. There’s about 200 yards where the bike path puts you on the 101 freeway. We kicked it into Turbo mode, I didn’t like being alonside cars doing 70mph. Teddys is a restaurant on the main drag there. Great food and you can sit outside to keep an eye on your bikes in the provided bike rack.
The trip from Ventura to Ojai is a blast too. It’s all bike path with a slight uphill the whole way there. All downhill on the way back. It winds through the trees and crosses little side streets. There’s tons of restaurants in Ojai to eat at. We spent the night in a hotel for something different to do. Recharged the bikes inside the hotel room and walked to dinner. Stumbled back after a couple glasses of wine with a great dinner.
