Turbo Vado 1.0 suitability

Hi, my name is John and I'm new to this forum. I have an opportunity to purchase a new 2018 Vado 1.0 from a private individual for what seems like a good price. It will be my first ebike. I'm 51 yrs old and would be using it mainly in the city and possibly on some light trails. Ideally I would like to equip the bike with fenders, lights (front and back), rack and pannier. I would like input on the possibility of outfitting the bike with authentic Specialized parts (would I be able to put on fenders with integrated lights like the 4.0 or 5.0 come equipped - and if so approximate cost).
Any insights into major differences (battery life, motor power, gears etc..) between the 1.0 and higher models are appreciated (keeping in mind I cycle occasionally but am looking at putting more time into it). Looking forward to your suggestions and insights. Thank you.

I’m in Europe so our markets are a little different. Here in EU you can get the Specialized Drytech fenders that comes with Vado 3.0 and up. However I have not seen any price or advertising for such a rear fender with the integrated rear light. Price in Europe for a front and rear (no light) is around 70 Euro so maybe about the same in CAD.
There is a new 2020 Vado 3.0 on sale for 3,650CAD and it comes with lights, fenders and a rear rack. The motor is new, 1.2E, and has less torque than the 1.2 motor from 2018. It is said to have 50nm just like a Bosch Active Line Plus but I don’t know if you can do such a simple comparison. It is tuned for smoothness and good range. But I think the difference in torque may be felt compared to regular 1.2.
I’m just bringing this new 3.0 up because it has the the things you wanted to add to the Vado 1.0 and perhaps could compare price.
With my 2018 Vado 4.0 last year, 1.2 motor and 500Wh battery, I never calculated to be able to go more than 100km on a fully charged battery. I mostly rode on pavement but also smoother forrest gravel roads and occasionally light trails. I did however take it easy as I am always careful with my gear and I was a little concerned about the 28 spoke wheels. No problems with my wheels though in 2400km. Had a puncture at around 2300km.
The Racktime rear rack that comes on Vado 3-5 is not perfect for panniers as the tubing has a flat top. It didn’t stop me from buying a new 5.0 but it may not be the rear rack I would choose. I have added some rubber lining to the top tubes to prevent my Ortliebs from rattling.
