Turbo v 5.0 IGH.. How fast to get uo to speed

I currently ride a Aventon Aventure. I am possibly interested in possibly getting a class 3 , mid drive bike. Most of my riding is on busy roads, no bike lanes, not bike friendly. In this area I ride faster on busier roads. Trying to get to less busy roads as fast as I can. On flat ground. 25 to 28 mph is no problem. Peddling flat out, I have managed 31 mph. I'm curious how fast the Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH can get up to speed on level ground. I'm a 71 yr old, 245 lb. Male relatively new to ebikes.

Separate issue. I'm not very pleased with Aventon support and I'm not very handy. How is Specialized support? There are not many shops very close to me that do more than basics on ebikes.

Could you go with a Specialized owned brand store? My experience with Specialized warranty and support has been stellar but I use a Brand Store in Warsaw Poland. Not sure how it would look like where you live.
As I do not own the IGH Vado, I cannot answer your principal question. The user reports are mixed: from very happy to very unhappy people.

I have just started digging into reviews more. I believe every is a store about 50 miles away. I need to check it out and see if I ca ride a demo. Pricey bike and j don't have great places to ride.

Ha! True words. I have said my peace about this bike.

This is not a crowned speed demon. If speed on flat is the priority, get the chain version and swap the chain ring for higher gearing to your liking. (Technically, you can do this on belt as well. But it can be more involved if you also need a new belt)

There are multiple reports of cadence not lining up with expected speed. While this isn’t a problem I had with the bike, understand that the enviolo gearbox is essentially a black box. And I would think it could easily be responsible for the differences.

I wish I had a specialized brand store. That may have provided a better experience for the bike.
