Tubeless tyers

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on tubeless tyres on e bikes

I got a couple of flats on my mountain bike (blackberry thorns), and immediately went tubeless a couple of months ago.
Stans is the sealant I'm using.
Found a couple of thorns since then, but the sealant worked perfectly.

Does your new bike have "tubeless ready" wheels and tires? Mine does, but it came with tubes installed. I had my first flat tire this morning (only about 350km on the bike) and even though in my lifetime (I'm old) I have fixed 50+ flat tires and am pretty handy, I couldn't even get the darn tire off the rim. I almost broke my tire irons! Luckily for me, I'd made it home the night before without getting a flat on the road, but this morning the tire was flat. So I'm converting over to fully tubeless. It's supposed to greatly reduce the chance of a flat and believe me, I really don't want to have to change a tire on the road if I can help it.

I'm pretty sure they'll need to re-tape the rims, as I don't think the stock tape is good enough. New valves too, obvs.

Why is using sealant in just a tire more puncture resistant than using sealant in a tube that's inside a tire?

I'm not sure, but on Saturday Australian time, I was talking to a staff member, and asked them to look at making their bikes tubeless compatible

Why is using sealant in just a tire more puncture resistant than using sealant in a tube that's inside a tire?

Only guessing, but with a tube you have a puncture in the tire and the tube. Only one puncture with a tubeless tire.
While the tube is trying to seal you'll get slime/sealant in the tire as well.
